Explore the beautiful Kermanshah with Tlocals in 4 days!
Day 1: Your arrival and our commencement of travel to Kermanshah, it takes about 7-8 hours to arrive. The second half of the way will be more interesting because of the landscapes and mountains on the way.
Day 2: We start the day with sightseeing of Bistun inscription, which is considered as a UNESCO world heritage site, located 30 KMs from Kermanshah to the northeast and is over 2500 years old. There you can get a lot of historical information about Iran and its old empire. Visiting Bistun may take us from morning to afternoon. Then we head to Taghbostan (Taq-e Bostan), another heritage in the north of the city. It actually is a series of large rock carvings from the Sassanid Empire. The Koohestan Park is where we spend the rest of the day. It is near Taghbostan and is the highest location of Kermanshah, so it provides an amazing view of the city.
Day 3: The day begins with visiting Takieh Mo’aven ol-molk, a Persian, old-architecture building used to hold religious ceremonies. Then we go to Takieh Biglarbeigi, which is another place as old as the previous one, but much more different by the appearance. Visiting Flowers Garden in the west of the city is the next plan. Various colors and great design make it really beautiful. Then we leave the city to the west for about an hour to arrive at Ghori Ghal’eh cave, a real mystery made by the nature of the area. We will be back to the hotel at night.
Day 4: Having a long way back to Tehran, we will leave Kermanshah after visiting a traditional sweet making workshop “Nan berenji” (We can transfer you to your hotel or to the airport for your departure).
